About Us

The Foundation aims to develop programs worldwide that promote economic development, investment, job creation, social integration, talent development, innovation, as well as sports and health preservation.

It supports all innovations, research and development, and digital initiatives that contribute to health maintenance, mental well-being, support for children and families, community engagement, and the development of leadership skills among young people.

The Foundation places special emphasis on families, children, and orphans living in war-affected regions.

Our programs are designed to provide essential support for survival and daily needs, including food, clean water, healthcare and hygiene supplies, and shelter.

We also support education, mental and emotional well-being, and the development of skills in children and youth to give them a fair chance at a better future.

Additionally, we encourage community cohesion, assist in rebuilding families, and pay special attention to orphans, ensuring they grow up in a safe and caring environment.

The Foundation donates and collects relief supplies to deliver to individuals, families, and communities in need, particularly in war zones, areas affected by natural disasters, and other disadvantaged groups.

Relief supplies include food, drinking water, clothing, medicine, hygiene products, shelter, and other essential items and services for basic survival.

Through these activities, the Foundation aims to ensure survival, promote mental and physical well-being, and provide support to families, children, and communities.

In all our activities, we prioritize child protection, data privacy, sustainability, and environmental responsibility, ensuring that our support reaches as many people in need as possible.

The Foundation’s programs are designed to be accessible to all who require assistance, with a focus on child protection, data privacy, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.

Thank you for your support!

György Rostás Jr. – President, Journalist, Humanitarian Leader, Author

I am György Rostás Jr., President of the International Social and Development Foundation (ISDF), journalist, humanitarian leader, and author. For over 20 years, I have been dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities, achieving tangible and lasting change in the lives of many people over the years.

Throughout my career, I have committed myself to serving disadvantaged groups: within the framework of the Roma Charity Service, we implemented social and educational programs, while at the Romani Scientific and Identity Preservation Association, our focus was on promoting culture, identity, and scientific development. Now, the time has come to elevate these efforts to a global, international foundation, allowing me to contribute to the support of communities in need around the world.

Over the years, I have authored several books and currently have multiple new works in progress, exploring topics such as education, culture, social dialogue, humanitarian support, and social inequalities. My work aims not only to provide direct aid but also to create knowledge, values, dialogue, employment, and livelihoods, which strengthen communities on a global scale and contribute to social cohesion in the long term.

The Mission of ISDF

The primary goal of the International Social and Development Foundation (ISDF) is to provide concrete, tangible support to those in need across the Balkans, Europe, and worldwide. Our mission includes:

  • Collecting and delivering food and drink donations to vulnerable communities
  • Organizing and implementing international programs that assist disadvantaged groups
  • Providing educational and training opportunities to help youth and communities achieve long-term growth
  • Supporting cultural and community projects that strengthen identity, cohesion, and social collaboration
  • Developing sustainable development programs that have a lasting positive impact on communities

As a journalist and international leader, my goal is to make the challenges of vulnerable communities visible and ensure that humanitarian aid produces real, measurable results. Over 20 years of experience, the successes of the Roma Charity Service and the Romani Scientific and Identity Preservation Association, as well as my books and publications, all reflect that education, culture, and social dialogue can create long-term, positive change.

By establishing ISDF, my aim is to build a global bridge between social assistance, education, culture, and social dialogue, providing communities in the Balkans and Europe with hope, stability, and opportunities for development. My career and life’s work are dedicated to serving these communities, and all our programs are guided by this long-term international vision.
