The International Social and Development Foundation (ISDF) was founded by George Rostás-Farkas Jr. and Laura Faragó with the mission of providing assistance to all people in need worldwide, regardless of their origin, nationality, religion, or skin color.
ISDF is committed to delivering humanitarian aid, social support, and development programs that promote equal opportunities, human dignity, and the resilience of communities. Our goal is to ensure that, through targeted initiatives, relief programs, and long-term projects, even the most vulnerable communities receive the support they need to survive, recover, and thrive.

He is also active as a journalist, as well as a producer and publisher of books, magazines, films, and audio recordings. His work places strong emphasis on highlighting social issues, exploring the realities of communities, and raising awareness for humanitarian causes. Since 2013, he has served as the President of the Roma Charity Service, where he continues to lead and manage the organization’s activities.
At the core of his work is the organization and implementation of global food aid and humanitarian programs. The initiatives he leads provide direct assistance to those living in the most difficult conditions, whether due to extreme poverty, social exclusion, war, or the aftermath of natural disasters.
Over the past decade, he has been actively involved in:
- organizing and implementing food aid programs,
- operating donation and fundraising systems,
- providing emergency humanitarian assistance in war zones,
- and supporting communities affected by natural disasters.
His work goes beyond immediate relief. He places strong emphasis on long-term programs that help communities recover and become more resilient. These efforts include education, skills development, and community-building initiatives, all contributing to sustainable improvements in the quality of life for those in need.
On an international level, he actively builds partnerships with various organizations and collaborators to ensure that aid programs are delivered as widely and effectively as possible. His goal is to strengthen a global humanitarian network capable of responding quickly and efficiently to crises anywhere in the world.
In his personal life, György is the proud father of two sons and places great importance on leading by example, upholding family values, and maintaining a strong commitment to community service. His life and work are guided by humanitarian principles, social responsibility, and the support of vulnerable communities.
His wife, Laura Faragó, is a journalist and a trained social professional who actively contributes to the foundation’s work. Her extensive experience in social program design, child and family support, and community development plays a key role in achieving the goals of ISDF. Her dedication and expertise are particularly valuable in supporting disadvantaged communities, children, and families.
The professional and personal dedication of György Rostás-Farkas Jr. and Laura Faragó is reflected in the foundation’s activities, ensuring that the goals of ISDF Global—providing aid, protecting human dignity, and supporting social development—are realized on the widest possible international scale.
Our mission is to deliver help where it is needed most—to the hungry, the deprived, and the victims of war and natural disasters—and to provide a real chance for a life of dignity.
